Every business on Slot gets a public page at slot.jalpi.com/book/your-name. Share it on Instagram, Google Maps or WhatsApp, and customers book straight from it.
The flow is short on purpose:
- Pick one or more services. Booking a haircut and a beard trim together is one booking, not two.
- Pick a staff member, or let Slot assign whoever is free.
- Pick a date on the calendar. Days with no openings are greyed out.
- Pick a time. Only slots that are genuinely free show up, worked out from your hours, breaks, holidays and existing bookings.
- Confirm with name and phone number, apply a coupon if you have one, and pay online if you ask for it.
No double bookings, no “let me check and get back to you”. If a service needs your sign-off first, mark it as approval-based and the booking waits in your Requests list until you accept it.
Reminders on WhatsApp, where customers actually look
Emails get buried. WhatsApp gets read. Slot sends a WhatsApp message and an email at every step of a booking:

Messages carry your business name in bold and plain links that open on any phone. Alerts go out from Jalpi’s shared number by default. Prefer your own? Connect your WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code from the admin panel and messages go out from you instead.
For online sessions, Slot can attach a Google Meet or Zoom link to the booking, so the meeting link lands in the same message.
Customers reschedule and cancel on their own
Plans change. With Slot, that no longer means a phone call. The links in every confirmation open a page where the customer sees their booking, picks a new date and time from the same live calendar, and confirms.
Each change is protected by a one-time code sent to the customer’s WhatsApp, so only the person who booked can move or cancel it. You get notified, the calendar updates, and the freed slot opens up for someone else.
One dashboard for the whole business
The admin panel at slot.jalpi.com/admin is where you run the day:
- Calendar. Day, week and month views of every booking. Click a booking to see its details, take payment, reschedule or cancel. Add walk-ins and phone bookings with + New Appointment.
- Appointments. A searchable list with payment status, bulk cancel, and a one-click export of customer contacts for your next campaign.
- Services and staff. Set price, duration and whether it is in person, on Google Meet or on Zoom. Assign each staff member the services they handle, and the booking page only offers the right people.
- Availability. Working hours, breaks, per-staff schedules and holidays in one place.
- Requests. Approve or decline bookings for approval-based services.
- Coupons and payments. Create discount codes and collect payments online through Razorpay or Stripe.
- Notifications. A log of every email and WhatsApp message sent, so you can see exactly what a customer received.
